Industrial Engineer & Continuous Improvement – Faucets Plant Work Mode: Onsite Location: Juarez, Nuevo León Under the supervision of the Project Specialist/CIC, this position implements manufacturing processes and leads continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency, productivity, reduce waste and cost, and improve working conditions. Essential responsibilities include reviewing standard times, performing 5‑S audits, and monitoring KOS savings. Responsibilities Optimize sequence of operations and balance production lines. Reduce cycle time, worker effort, inventory, and floor waste. Improve ergonomic conditions and eliminate waste. Use 7‑Waste reduction forms to support continuous improvement. Analyze throughput, OEE, and bottleneck data; lead throughput improvement processes. Assess process work conditions—space, layout, lighting, breaks, manpower, tools and equipment. Support KOS events and apply methodology to all teams. Develop and maintain Standard Work studies (no older than one year). Maintain and standardize Layered Process Audits. Track KOS savings goals, report monthly savings, and create new yearly lists. Own accuracy of IE documentation: standard work cycles, Standard Time Data System, standard operation sheets, routings, AutoCAD layouts, labor reporting. Support plant areas on structural fabrication for productivity, safety and quality (Kaizen Team). Comply with Health and Safety responsibilities. Champion safe work practices and ergonomic improvements; partner with Safety and HR on compliance and risk‑reduction initiatives. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering (preferred). Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering. Familiarity with SAP and VIS systems, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, standard cost and BOM structure. Bilingual English & Spanish preferred. Knowledge of lean tools and ergonomics.
