Job Title: Head of Data (Analytics, Data Engineering & AI/ML) Location: Remote (LATAM or CEE Preferred) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST Compensation: $6,000 – $8,000 USD/month About the Role We are hiring a Head of Data to build and lead the company’s data function across analytics, data engineering, and AI/ML . This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for data infrastructure, reporting, forecasting, and applied machine learning , supporting both operational efficiency and strategic decision‑making. You will work closely with executive leadership to define data strategy, implement scalable systems, and drive measurable business impact through data . What You’ll Own Company-wide data strategy and roadmap Data infrastructure, pipelines, and architecture Business intelligence, reporting, and dashboards Forecasting models and performance analytics AI/ML initiatives for automation and optimization Data governance and data quality standards Key Responsibilities Define and execute the data strategy, architecture, and roadmap Build and manage data pipelines (ETL/ELT) and data infrastructure Deliver executive dashboards, KPI reporting, and forecasting models Develop and deploy machine learning models for operational and business use cases Partner with leadership (CEO, CFO, COO) to translate business goals into data‑driven insights Establish data governance, quality standards, and best practices Lead and mentor data team members as the function scales Required Experience & Skills 5+ years of experience across data science, analytics, or data engineering Strong experience building data infrastructure and pipelines Proficiency in SQL and Python Experience with ETL/ELT tools (Airflow, dbt, or similar) Experience building and deploying ML models in production Strong background in statistics, data modeling, and analytics Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) Ability to communicate insights to executive stakeholders Experience leading or mentoring team members Nice to Have Experience in healthcare, veterinary, or clinical environments Experience scaling a data function in a startup or high‑growth company Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery) Experience applying AI to operations or customer experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
