Position Summary The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating daily manufacturing operations within the wire harness production area. This role ensures that production targets, quality standards, safety requirements, and customer delivery commitments are consistently achieved. The Production Supervisor provides leadership to production associates, promotes continuous improvement, and supports operational excellence in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily production activities in wire harness assembly operations, ensuring production schedules are met while maintaining quality and efficiency standards. Monitor production performance metrics, including productivity, scrap, downtime, and labor utilization. Allocate manpower and resources to achieve operational goals and ensure adherence to standard work instructions and manufacturing procedures. Lead, coach, and develop production associates and team leaders; conduct daily shift meetings; manage employee performance, attendance, discipline, and development activities. Ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality requirements; support corrective and preventive actions related to quality issues; collaborate with Quality and Engineering teams. Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with company safety policies; conduct safety observations, audits, and incident investigations. Participate in Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives; identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce waste, and optimize processes; collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and Maintenance teams. Coordinate activities with Planning, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain departments; provide accurate shift reports and communicate production performance; support new product launches and process improvements. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Equivalent manufacturing experience may be considered. Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in wire harness, cable assembly, automotive, electronics, or related manufacturing.
