The System Test Engineer is responsible for ensuring the successful execution of system tests, developing test specifications, managing test environments, and reporting test results. Responsibilities Ensure executability of the System test along with the project plan. Develop Systems Test Specifications with traceability from system test cases to the unique system requirements to ensure full coverage of all system interfaces and stakeholder requirements. Support the distribution of the System Test Environment and vehicle integration with OEM teams to integrate lighting systems and active safety sensors. Align the System test specification with the Function Manager. Approve the execution of System Test cases and prepare the System Test Report. Support the closing of the System test activities. Perform and participate in peer document reviews (test plans, test specifications). Escalate deviations to the System Test Lead and provide adequate information and proposals for decision making. Execute vehicle‑level testing to cover requirements, perform smoke tests, regression tests, and full validation on vehicle level. Execute test drives to validate end‑user ADAS features. Report issues found via defect management tools such as Jira and CorAlm. Perform DVP&R according to customer requirements. Perform trace analysis using CAN and LIN interface tools such as Canoe and Canalyzer. Innovate and develop alternative test solutions to the existing strategy. Understand and apply ASPICE process requirements. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline. At least 8 years of relevant experience in system test/design in a multifunctional automotive environment. Knowledge of automotive development and application of active safety features (plus). Proficiency in CAN communication protocols and tools such as CANoe and CANalyzer. Capl script knowledge. Experience in system engineering and testing: requirements analysis, test‑case writing methodology, traceability concept, test‑case execution, automation, and reporting. Knowledge of DAS/ADAS DFMEA (plus). Familiarity with front/rear lamp and tail‑indicator based systems is considered a plus. Experience with ASPICE, ISO26262, and Cyber Security. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities. Confidence, articulation, self‑motivation, determination, and energy. Ability to engage with customers and build strong relationships. Vehicle test experience. Team player, self‑driven, and motivated. This role is full‑time and permanent, located at the Site & R&D.
