Overview We are seeking a hands‑on and results‑oriented engineer to support stamping operations, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives within a high‑performance manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Improve the performance and efficiency of mechanical and hydraulic press lines through Lean Manufacturing methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives. Design, develop, and release process flow diagrams, tooling requirements, and operating parameters for new product industrialization. Reduce tooling setup and changeover times using SMED methodologies to increase machine availability and productivity. Analyze and resolve quality and manufacturing defects in stamped components, including cracks, wrinkles, and burrs, ensuring compliance with critical tolerances and product specifications. Design and implement machine guarding, Lockout/Tagout systems, and additional safety devices to ensure compliance with industrial safety standards. Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), certification tests, and Process Flow Diagrams. Conduct preventive and corrective PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) activities for manufacturing processes. Create clear visual aids and standardized instructions for die inspection and operation. Collaborate cross‑functionally with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Tooling, and EHS teams to drive operational excellence and process stability. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field. 2–5 years of experience operating or managing stamping and press manufacturing processes. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Familiarity with Core Quality Tools including APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, and MSA. English communication skills desirable. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting new product launches and manufacturing industrialization projects. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in metal stamping environments. Experience developing visual management tools and standardized work documentation.
