Chemours is seeking a Sr.Payroll Analyst to join our growing People team. Responsibilities Administer end to end processes for a biweekly and monthly payroll cycle. Ensure compliance for exempt and non‑exempt (union and non‑union), employee populations to include garnishments and bonus/severance coordination/payout/tracking. Assist with resolution of errors and system problems by analyzing all payroll related data and then researching and finding solutions. Identify process improvement initiatives and define standards for new processes. Oversee maintenance of payroll files as required by law and company policy; oversee responses to outside information requests as appropriate. Assist in establishing payroll procedures and guidelines as well as troubleshooting payroll problems. Oversee periodic reviews/audits of payroll related processes to ensure compliance with all policies and procedures as well as federal, state, and local laws. Establish and maintain relationships with the other functional areas such as Finance, Compensation, and Benefits and act as a resource for payroll related requests. Assist manager with various audits, including SOX controls. Enter stock options/restricted stock units/dividend equivalent units as needed. Participate in testing system upgrades. Review payroll audit reports for accuracy. Participate in all payroll year‑end activities. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a Bachelors. 3+ years of experience with end‑to‑end payroll processing including experience with a large multi‑state corporation. Skills in Microsoft Office (Excel experience in pivot tables and lookups). Thorough knowledge of payroll related state, legal, tax, and compliance requirements (including time and attendance and their impact on non‑exempt pay requirements). Demonstrated understanding of basic accounting principles including journal entries and reconciliations. Strong understanding of payroll processes and best practices in a decentralized payroll environment. Flexibility and adaptability: ability to operate in a fast‑paced, rapidly evolving, and data‑driven organization. Strong verbal and written English language communication skills needed to interface and establish rapport with all levels of the organization including executive team members. Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of Workday Payroll experience. A proactive, high‑energy attitude geared towards achieving continuous improvement. Ability to work with all members of the Project Team (includes direct employees, consultants, and implementation partner team members) to ensure alignment and coordination.
