We are expanding our footprint in Monterrey within Advanced Safety and User Experience Engineering, establishing a new facility in Mexico equipped with state‑of‑the‑art technology and infrastructure. Your Role At Aptiv, we are dedicated to developing innovative solutions that make transportation safer, greener, and more connected. Embedded engineers design, develop, and validate advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and other automotive products following Automotive SPICE and Functional Safety processes to enhance vehicle safety and user experience. Responsibilities Develop software for active safety or body control production projects. Design, code, and test real‑time embedded systems with first‑time quality. Work closely with component teams on interfaces and dependencies. Triage issues reported by stakeholders. Perform internal and customer diagnostics software design, power‑modeing, HW‑IO, and AUTOSAR stack configuration using tools such as Vector DaVinci. Responsible for static analysis, unit testing, and integration testing of the software on a hardware platform. Ensure Automotive SPICE and Functional Safety process compliance. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline (computer science, software, or related field of study). At least 2 years of work experience in the automotive industry or consumer electronics. Proficient in English speaking, reading, and writing. Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem‑solving skills with a positive approach to challenge. Cross‑functional interests, ambitious and self‑driven. Comfortable with ambiguity. Ability to effectively manage several projects simultaneously. Strong soft skills: networking creation, influencing skills, constant learning, positive ownership profile. Familiarity with Embedded C on microcontroller architectures. Nice to Haves (Preferred Qualifications) Experience in automotive embedded software development. Deep embedded triaging skills. Experience in diagnostics, low‑power mode implementation, and factory‑test software. Knowledge of Agile methodology and Automotive SPICE.
