Responsibilities include: employment matters; personnel records administration; statistical reporting; rewards program deployment; payroll delivery and compliance; people service support provision; automation of workflows. Professional Stream The professional stream includes individuals who are mainly contributors applying technical and disciplinary knowledge rather than managing people to achieve results. They may coach or mentor less experienced staff, exercise informal supervisory responsibilities, oversee the work of other lower‑level professionals, or manage processes and programs. Work ranges from setting objectives and delivering on own responsibilities to becoming a leading expert within a given field and influencing long‑term tactical decisions of the organization. Progression within this stream reflects increasing depth of professional knowledge, project‑management capability, and the ability to influence others. Scope of Work Individuals at this level work independently within defined boundaries and guidelines in a specific area but require supervision and support on more complex tasks. Knowledge is required for applying practical methods, work procedures, and processes. Solutioning involves choosing from known alternatives within the area of expertise and evaluating the appropriateness and effectiveness of the chosen solution. Leadership and Management Leaders at this level manage employees day‑to‑day and set priorities to ensure task completion. Experience and Qualifications The job requires previous work experience in a related area, or practical knowledge obtained via advanced education.
