Location Monterrey, NL (with occasional travel to Altamira & Reynosa) Job Type Contract (Project-based) Duration May - Mid to July 2026 Industry Oil & Gas / Manufacturing / Industrial Construction About The Role We are seeking an HSE Engineer to support safety, health, and environmental compliance during the manufacturing phase of critical components for an Oil & Gas project. This is a plant-based role, focused on ensuring that fabrication activities meet HSE standards prior to offshore deployment. Key Responsibilities Supervise HSE conditions within manufacturing and fabrication environments Ensure compliance with Mexican HSE regulations and client standards Identify and report unsafe acts, conditions, and near misses Support incident investigations and corrective actions Conduct daily toolbox talks and safety briefings Coordinate with production, quality, and contractor teams Maintain HSE documentation, reports, and records Promote a proactive safety culture on-site Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Environmental, or related) Minimum 3 years of HSE experience in industrial, manufacturing, or construction environments Strong knowledge of Mexican HSE regulations (STPS, NOMs) Experience working in plant environments (fabrication, assembly, or heavy industry) Availability to travel occasionally within Northern Mexico and Texas Required To Apply (Must Have) 3 Years of Experience in Oil & Gas or energy-related projects Familiarity with client-driven HSE standards Advance Level of English Key Competencies Hands-on approach in operational environments Strong observation and hazard identification skills Effective communication with shop floor teams Preventive mindset and attention to detail Compensation & Benefits MXN $55,000 - $70,000 monthly (gross) Travel expenses covered when required Project-based contract with potential extension License/Certification BOSIET or HUET (vigente) Behavior-based Safety (BBS) Internal or Lead Auditor ISO 45001, 14001 and/or 9001 Apply Now If you have solid HSE experience in industrial environments and are available for a short-term project, we encourage you to apply. #J-18808-Ljbffr
