Google Ads & PPC Manager – Leadership Role | Remote LionHead Digital is a fast-growing digital marketing agency helping law firms across the United States dominate their markets through advanced SEO, paid ads, and AI-powered strategies. We're looking for a Google Ads & PPC Manager who will take full ownership of our paid media campaigns - with one clear mission: drive consistent, qualified leads for our clients at controlled costs that produce real, measurable results. This role is more than managing budgets and clicking buttons. You'll be the performance engine behind our clients' paid media success - building smart campaign structures, optimizing relentlessly, and owning every metric from CPL to conversion tracking accuracy. You'll work closely with Client Success, SEO, and Web teams and report directly into fulfillment leadership. What You'll Do Own PPC Strategy & Campaign Setup: Take full ownership of paid media once a client is fulfillment-ready - reviewing goals, budgets, and market conditions to build campaign structures aligned with services, locations, and search intent. Account & Asset Validation: Validate access to Google Ads, GA4, GTM, conversion tracking, and landing pages before launch - flagging gaps and coordinating fixes with Dev, SEO, or Ops before a single dollar is spent. Campaign Launch & Optimization: Launch campaigns on approved timelines, monitor performance daily during early phases, and continuously optimize keywords, match types, ad copy, bids, budgets, and negative keyword lists to hit CPL and lead quality targets. Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track and analyze spend, CPL, conversions, CTR, and Quality Score - maintaining accurate dashboards, flagging underperformance early, and always arriving with a clear action plan. Cross-Team Coordination: Collaborate with Client Success Managers for client context, SEO and Content for keyword alignment, Web and Dev for landing page improvements, and Operations for capacity and prioritization - documenting all changes along the way. Internal PPC Campaigns: Plan, launch, and optimize LionHead's own Google Ads campaigns for lead generation, hiring, and brand initiatives - applying the same QA, tracking, and optimization standards used for client work. Process Adherence & Improvement: Follow and improve documented PPC SOPs, maintain clean account structures and naming conventions, and propose enhancements to campaign frameworks, QA checklists, reporting templates, and automation rules. What Success Looks Like (KPIs) CPL consistently at or below target across all active accounts Lead volume delivered reliably month over month Zero broken conversion tracking across client accounts Campaigns launched on time with no setup delays Reduction in wasted spend through disciplined negative keyword management Strong client satisfaction scores related to paid media performance Internal PPC campaigns hitting CPL and conversion benchmarks What We're Looking For 3-5+ years of hands-on Google Ads / PPC management experience (agency or in-house) Proven track record managing multiple accounts with measurable, documented results Deep expertise in campaign structure, bidding strategies, keyword match types, and Quality Score optimization Strong command of conversion tracking, GA4, GTM, call tracking, and CRM attribution Experience managing budgets responsibly and optimizing for spend efficiency Ability to analyze performance data, spot trends, and translate insights into clear action plans Strong communication and documentation skills — you keep things clean, clear, and accountable Experience collaborating cross-functionally with SEO, Web, Content, and Client Success teams Up to date on Google Ads platform changes, policy updates, and PPC best practices Compensation & Perks Competitive pay range: $25,000 to $35,000 annual , based on performance-based bonuses tied to CPL targets, lead volume, and client retention Direct reporting line to Director of Client Services and participation in the agency’s leadership team.
