The Role You’ll Play As a Senior/Lead Accountant on our Financial Reporting team, you’ll be a key contributor to accurate and timely financial reporting. You’ll prepare and review financial statements, tackle complex technical accounting matters, and ensure our financial close process runs smoothly while partnering with teams across the business. You’ll be encouraged to take initiative, identify issues early, and contribute to practical solutions. With a self-starter mindset, you’ll look for opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and strengthen the quality of our reporting and financial close processes. Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements. Lead technical accounting research and draft well-supported memos on complex and emerging issues. Partner with FP&A, Legal, and Operations to deliver timely and reliable reporting. Take ownership of key close processes, driving accuracy and efficiency while meeting tight deadlines. Provide clear guidance on new accounting standards and evolving regulatory requirements. Support management with accounting insights that inform strategic and operational decisions. Operate with autonomy and sound judgment, taking ownership of complex projects from start to finish. Proactively identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and drive greater efficiency without sacrificing accuracy. Experience You Bring Strong foundation in U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting, with 5+ years of progressive experience preparing or reviewing public company filings, background in a Big 4 accounting firm (or equivalent) preferred. Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex accounting standards and communicate conclusions clearly to stakeholders. Proven success in fast-paced, dynamic environments—comfortable driving projects independently and delivering under tight deadlines. Track record of owning financial close processes and identifying efficiency opportunities. Skilled at building collaborative relationships across finance, legal, and operations teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for distilling complex topics into actionable insights.
