Position Overview The role is focused on leading the containment and resolution of non-conforming materials for Daimler Truck AG, ensuring quality, safety, and continuous improvement across the production process. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating corrective actions with suppliers, managing end‑to‑end resolution processes, and driving operational excellence through the SQDCME framework. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate containment and corrective actions with suppliers for non‑conforming materials reported via QFLs and receiving inspections. Manage the end‑to‑end resolution process to isolate defective components and implement permanent solutions. Coordinate and plan daily activities related to safety, quality, delivery, cost, morale, and environment metrics, ensuring alignment with plant strategy. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to meet or exceed operational KPIs. Lead and develop the work team, ranging from frontline operators to Quality Champions. Foster a high-performance culture through coaching, training, and professional growth opportunities. Ensure seamless communication with operational and support departments to contain and resolve issues promptly. Maintain constant production flow and secure sales by minimizing disruptions caused by quality failures. Collaborate closely with Quality Engineers to ensure accurate communication and rigorous follow‑up on quality problem‑solving processes. Qualifications Technical knowledge of the product and assembly processes. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Upper‑intermediate B2 level in English. Strong analysis and problem‑solving skills. Decision‑making capability with effective communication. Influence and negotiation skills.
