The Role We are looking for a Software Engineer – Developer at Kyndryl to design, develop, and implement cutting‑edge software solutions that deliver value to our customers quickly and reliably. Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement software components based on design documentation and functional specifications. Document, unit‑test, and prepare components for integration into the final product. Architect solutions, perform code testing, and build and maintain CI/CD pipelines. Provide work estimates for assigned development tasks and guide feature and technology decisions. Drive innovation, take ownership of work, and continuously improve problem‑solving, collaboration, and automation skills. Required Qualifications X years of experience as a software engineer on complex projects. Excellent coding skills in Java, Python, .NET, or similar languages, with strong debugging and problem‑solving abilities. Experience with scalable, robust software development methodologies. Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, data mapping, XML/JSON, and REST‑based web services. Knowledge of microservices architecture, containers (Docker & k8s), and messaging queues. Deep understanding of OOP and design patterns. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Certification in one or more hyperscalers (Azure, AWS, Google GCP) – or willingness to obtain certification. Experience with DevOps tools and modern engineering practices.
