Cybersecurity Analyst II (Financial Operations Specialist) The Cybersecurity Analyst II (Financial Operations Specialist) serves as the operational and financial administration lead for Cybersecurity’s non‑labor spend. This role is responsible for the full lifecycle tracking of Cybersecurity technology purchases and renewals, with a strong focus on capitalized hardware and software, purchasing workflows, and third‑party technology asset management. The role partners closely with Cybersecurity Product Owners, Managers, Directors, IT Finance, and Strategic Sourcing to ensure accurate forecasting, timely renewals, and uninterrupted business operations. Key Responsibilities Own financial forecasting, receipting, and tracking for capitalized Cybersecurity hardware and software products. Serve as the primary operational lead for non‑labor spend within the Cybersecurity organization. Manage end‑to‑end purchasing workflows, including requisitions, purchase orders, renewals, and capital expense tracking. Ensure compliance with capitalization requirements and internal financial controls. Maintain an accurate, up‑to‑date inventory of all third‑party Cybersecurity technology products. Track lifecycle status of Cybersecurity tools, including purchase dates, renewal timelines, contract terms, and ownership. Proactively manage renewal schedules to prevent service lapses or business interruptions. Stakeholder Partnership Support Cybersecurity Product Owners and Managers by providing financial visibility and operational guidance. Partner with IT Finance and Strategic Sourcing to align purchasing strategies, budgets, and vendor management. Act as a trusted point of contact for inquiries related to Cybersecurity technology spend and asset status. Objectives & Outcomes Ensure zero business interruption by proactively managing third‑party technology renewals. Deliver accurate financial forecasting and receipting for capitalized Cybersecurity investments. Maintain a complete and reliable inventory of all third‑party Cybersecurity technology products. Improve operational efficiency and financial transparency across Cybersecurity’s technology portfolio. Required Qualifications Experience supporting financial operations, purchasing, or asset management in a technology or cybersecurity environment. Strong understanding of capitalized hardware/software, purchasing workflows, and financial tracking. Proven ability to manage multiple vendors, contracts, and renewal timelines. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and inventories. Effective communication skills and ability to partner with technical, financial, and sourcing stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with Cybersecurity teams, tools, or technology portfolios. Familiarity with IT financial management, capital expense processes, or technology asset management systems.
