Job Description GM Financial International Operations conducts business in Latin America and China. International Operations offers a wide range of wholesale and retail automotive financing products to dealers and their customers. The strength of the international business lies in its ability to tailor its products to meet unique dealer needs, consumer preferences and national requirements in local markets. Latin American country operations include Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru. Responsibilities The Collections Intern will support activities related to collections of delinquent accounts, salvage accounts, remarketing operations, and back‑office processes. The candidate is expected to participate in key activities to achieve learning that allows for rotation to the execution of other processes through periodic rotations (every 3 months) of activities, ensuring participation in the main departments such as Regular Collection, Salvage Collection, and Remarketing with the objective of identifying opportunities through general knowledge. Their participation will support daily area activities, learning how to execute main processes, improving operations, and adhering to projects the teams are already working on. Coordinate activities related to Collections. Follow policies and procedures. Contribute and drive process improvement. Communicate with other departments and leadership to resolve problems and expedite work. Support area in resolving problems and completing work. Proactively keep the Collections Supervisor informed of business issues and opportunities. Qualifications Student pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Banking, Economy, Finance, Accounting, or related fields. Be 1 year or more apart from graduation (June '27 or +). Availability to work Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Proficient English skills, both verbal and written. Working knowledge and experience with computer programs such as Microsoft Office, especially high Excel skill. Teamwork and collaboration. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written skills.
