Documentation Clerk What you’ll be doing: Storing files, or entering information into CargoWise with appropriate file number, brief information, voyage information and shipment date. Requesting commercial documents and uploads commercial documents into CargoWise. Coordinating with Entry Writers and Brokerage Manager on files as needed. Searching for and investigating information contained in files, inserting additional data on file records, completing reports, and keeping files current. Handling data entry and documentation. Managing daily tracing report. Implementing changes to the filing system when directed to do so. Reviewing documents to check for accuracy, including piece count, ensuring the invoice matches the provided packing list and that they comply with necessary customs regulations. Work Schedule GDL Office 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM CST / 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST Who you are: You have a bachelor’s degree in international business or equivalent experience Around one year of experience in an administrative/clerical type role You possess knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel Your strengths are prioritizing and being capable of working in a fast-paced environment, you have a good sense of urgency and remain paying attention to details.
