Senior Mechanical Engineer Business Group: Lighting Responsabilities Reports to Application Leader in term of tasks based on assignment into particular project Leads all PD tasks related to successful Job1 and profitable product in terms of mechanical engineering. Develop concepts for innovative products with regard to feasibility, cost, lifespan customer and legal requirements Responsible for mechanical BOM release & updates Applies and ensures application of the best design and process practices (DGL, Rules), standard parts, Lessons Learned, CAD standards and CAD methodology and customer specific requirements. Provides suggestions for creating and updating DFMEA. Ensure application of proper data management system and information exchange within the project team Cooperates at creation of DFMEA, CAE plan, DV plan, component test and certification in compliance with the CDP/VPDS/VBOS and customer specifications as well as legal requirements. Supports Technical Design Review (TDR ) of given project.
