About The Opportunity We are currently seeking a Strategic Account Manager to join our Commercial Team in Mexico. In this customer‑facing role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, building long‑term partnerships with healthcare and life sciences customers, and implementing strategic initiatives across a defined territory. As a trusted advisor, you will identify new business opportunities, manage key customer relationships, and promote QIAGEN’s innovative portfolio of molecular diagnostics and life sciences solutions. This position offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on business performance while contributing to improved healthcare outcomes through cutting‑edge technologies. Your Tasks Include Manage and grow a defined territory and customer portfolio to achieve or exceed sales targets and business objectives. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, distributors, and business partners. Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities through regular customer visits and strategic account planning. Implement commercial strategies and initiatives within assigned accounts to drive revenue growth and market penetration. Promote and sell QIAGEN’s Molecular Diagnostics and Life Sciences solutions based on customer needs. Analyze territory potential and develop achievable sales objectives and forecasts for reporting periods. Manage customer inquiries and complaints, coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure timely resolution and high customer satisfaction. Collaborate closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, Customer Care, Finance, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory Affairs teams to support customer needs and business goals. Maintain accurate customer information, sales activities, and opportunities within CRM systems (Salesforce). Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and customer requirements to support business development strategies. Your Profile Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Clinical Laboratory Sciences, Healthcare, or a related scientific field. Minimum 2-5 years of successful sales experience in the healthcare, diagnostics, medical device, biotechnology, life sciences, or related industry. Proven experience managing customer relationships and driving business growth within a designated territory. Strong consultative selling, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Experience using CRM / SFDC platforms, preferably Salesforce. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Strong analytical, planning, and problem‑solving capabilities. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross‑functional and international teams. Customer‑focused mindset with a demonstrated ability to build long‑term partnerships. Fluent Spanish and professional working proficiency in English. Willingness to travel up to 80% within the assigned territory.
