Responsibilities Lead and develop an established team of engineers and consultants, fostering technical excellence, continuous improvement, and employee engagement while ensuring projects meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Act as a strategic communication bridge, aligning local execution with Digital Grid Americas leadership and supporting informed decision‑making. Engage directly with utility and industrial customers, building trusted relationships and positioning the Digital Grid portfolio as the partner of choice. Drive sales initiatives and business development, identifying opportunities, shaping proposals, and expanding the Digital Grid footprint in Mesoamerica. Promote cross‑segment collaboration, enhancing operational effectiveness and ensuring cohesive delivery across teams. Monitor market trends and review KPIs, applying insights to strategies and reporting quarterly performance to the Head of Digital Grid Americas. Qualifications University degree or higher in an engineering discipline. 10 or more years of customer‑facing experience. Candidates with more experience may be considered for a higher level or vice‑versa. A strong track record of leadership and strategic delivery in global companies, with solid knowledge of the energy transmission and digital grid market. Previous experience managing engineering or technical project teams in power grids or similar fields, demonstrating proven ability to lead, mentor, and deliver results. Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills, fluent in English and Spanish (additional languages a plus), with experience working in intercultural, globally distributed teams. Prior experience in business development or sales within the energy transmission, digital grid sector, and/or engaging with major utilities or industrial clients.
