We are looking for a VMWare Administrator - Level 2: Technical Requirements - Primary VMWare Infrastructure Administration and management Installation, Provisioning and Troubleshooting of VMware Virtual Infrastructure and Physical Server. Installation, upgradation and Configuration of VMware vSphere Platform 6.x, ESXi Host, vCenter Server. Deployment and Provisioning of Windows, Linux VM from template, ISO and preconfigured appliances. Installations for security patches, functional patches and version upgrades Performance tuning of ESX server Implement Hardening on ESXi Server Document support processes Maintain Compliance with Corporate Security Policies: Security Policies: Work together with the security team, identify the server venerability issues and resolving them. Responsible for restoration of data. Snapshot, HA,DRS & Cloning background process Update manager through OS upgradation VMware ESX (from version 6.0 to the release 6.7) Proficient on VMware technologies like:-VMware High-Availability, VMware vMotion, VMware DRS, VMware vCenter and vCenter Update Manager, - VMware vCenter and Web console Troubleshooting, upgradation of ESXi host, VMware tools, NIC & HBA Drivers and firmware on requirement basis or break fix. Provide 2nd level systems support Good knowledge of managing HP/Dell hardware and configuration of Networking and storage via HP Tools.
