Job Description Lead/supervise a team of buyers focused on ensuring continuous flow of materials and services to support operations management and plant activities, and direct them to achieve KPIs and meet financial objectives. Responsibilities Supervise buyers and other employees to support plant operations. Evaluate buyers and employees. Address employee concerns and issues with appropriate responses and solutions. Audit key aspects of employees' work and generate performance measurement reports. Act as the primary communication channel between senior management and employees. Define priorities and resources to ensure the proper flow of materials and services to the plants. Supervise purchasing procedures and ethical guidelines with buyers. Negotiate and coordinate negotiations with buyers as necessary. Assist buyers with supplier issues as needed. Interface with departments when issues arise in operations. Attend SOX/FOA and internal audit meetings and follow up on requirements. Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual reports (savings reports, purchases by item, etc.). Ensure compliance with Lear Corporation policies and procedures, as well as compliance with all audits such as ISO 14001, ISO 45001, CTPAT, TS16949, and any other corporate or internal audits. Qualifications 3–5 years of experience as a Procurement Coordinator. Ability to work under pressure, handling critical materials, shortages, and supplier recovery plans. Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (QAD). Experience in the automotive and electronic components industry. Supplier management and negotiation skills. Leadership and decision‑making skills. Effective communication – escalation management. Analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills. Ability to set operational priorities aligned with production risk, inventory, and customer service. Sense of urgency.Results‑oriented.
