Role Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead medical device sales and commercialization efforts in Mexico. The ideal candidate should possess strong experience in the Mexican healthcare sector, distributor management, and regulatory coordination related to medical devices. Key Responsibilities Primary Responsibility: Medical Device Sales & Commercialization Strategy 1. Sales Strategy & Implementation Develop and execute commercialization strategies aligned with Mexico market dynamics. Identify key customer segments including hospitals, clinics, distributors, and healthcare procurement organizations. Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for healthcare professionals. Support institutional and private sector business development activities. 2. Market Expansion Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, clinics, distributors, and channel partners. Drive market entry and expansion through KOL engagement and strategic partnerships. Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and opportunity analysis. 3. Sales Targets & Performance Achieve defined sales targets and KPIs. Maintain sales pipeline tracking, forecasting, and reporting. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely execution of commercial activities. 4. Regulatory & Compliance Collaboration Work closely with regulatory teams to ensure compliance with COFEPRIS requirements. Support product registration, importation, and post-market surveillance activities. Coordinate with local distributors and regulatory consultants for product approvals and compliance. Key Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, Business, or related field. 5+ years of experience in medical device sales/business development. Strong knowledge of Mexico’s healthcare system and COFEPRIS regulations. Proven ability to manage distributors and institutional sales. Spanish fluency required; English preferred. Preferred Attributes Experience in medical device product registration and regulatory submissions. Strong network within Mexican healthcare institutions and distributors. Experience handling importation and commercialization activities in Mexico.
