Production Manager As a Production Manager you will be responsible for leading and overseeing all manufacturing operations related to automotive cable and wiring system production. This role ensures efficient production planning, high-quality output, cost control, and compliance with automotive industry standards (e.g., IATF 16949), while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence. Responsibilities Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules aligned with customer demand Ensure on-time delivery and monitor production KPIs, adjusting resources as needed Optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity and reduce scrap and downtime Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S) Ensure compliance with quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001) and reduce defects Support root cause analysis and corrective actions (8D methodology) Lead, coach, and develop production teams, ensuring proper training and performance Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations Monitor production costs, labor efficiency, and identify cost-saving opportunities Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain) Support new product launches and process improvements Qualifications Completed bachelor's degree +3 years as a Production Manager in an automotive industry Proven experience in wiring harness, cable systems, or similar production environments preferred Advanced English: written and spoken Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt preferred) Strong understanding of IATF 16949 and automotive standards Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred) Benefits Inclusive work environment where all individuals can grow regardless of gender, ethnicity or beliefs Safety as a core Aptiv value; zero fatalities, zero injuries, zero accidents Support and resources for family and health, including competitive health insurance package Opportunities for growth within Aptiv Aptiv is an equal employment opportunity employer.
