This role has been established as a 12‑month temporary position to support the Trainee Program and a new Quality Project within the Power Electronics manufacturing facility in Queretaro. The position is an addition to the team, designed to bring in new talent to support quality initiatives. To meet these objectives, the role will focus on two core areas: foundational learning of quality control processes within a manufacturing setting and providing support for data analysis and reporting related to the specific quality project. This structure ensures the trainee gains practical experience while contributing to project deliverables. Given the focus on learning and project support, the ideal candidate will be a current student or recent graduate in an engineering or related discipline. Essential attributes include strong analytical capabilities, a proactive learning mindset, and the ability to assist in documenting and analyzing quality data. How You’ll Make An Impact Learn and apply fundamental quality control principles and company standards within the power electronics manufacturing process. Assist senior quality engineers in conducting process audits and inspections on production lines. Support the documentation and maintenance of records for the Quality Management System (QMS). Participate in the analysis of non-conforming materials and assist in basic root cause analysis activities under supervision. Contribute to identifying and suggesting opportunities for process improvements based on audit findings and data. Collect and compile quality performance data from inspection reports and production metrics. Assist in creating basic reports, charts, and presentations to visualize quality trends for the project team. Support the project team by preparing and organizing documentation for project status reviews. Maintain logs and track action items related to quality improvement initiatives. What You Bring Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's degree in industrial, mechanical, electrical engineering, or a related technical field. No prior professional experience required; academic projects or previous internship experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous. Demonstrated interest in quality management, manufacturing processes, or power electronics. Technical Skills: Data Collection and Analysis, Quality Management Systems (QMS), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Process Improvement and Technical Documentation.
