Job Title Air Conditioning Product Manager Department Product Management Position Summary The Air Conditioning Product Manager is responsible for overseeing the complete product lifecycle — from market analysis and concept definition to development, launch, and ongoing performance management. This role requires deep market understanding, strong product planning capabilities, and close collaboration with R&D, sales, and marketing teams to ensure the air conditioning portfolio remains competitive within the white goods sector. Key Responsibilities 1. Market Research and Demand Analysis Conduct thorough research on market trends, competitor performance, and customer preferences to design effective product strategies. Gather feedback from customers and analyze data to identify improvement opportunities for current products. 2. Product Definition and Development Establish product features, specifications, and target segments based on market insights. Partner with the R&D team to guide the creation of new products, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality standards. Oversee all stages of product development, including drafting product requirement documents, building roadmaps, and managing iterations. 3. Product Launch and Promotion Plan and execute launch strategies in coordination with marketing, sales, and channel partners to guarantee successful market introduction. Collaborate with marketing teams to develop campaigns and promotional activities that strengthen brand awareness and product visibility. 4. Product Lifecycle Management Track market performance and continuously refine product strategies based on analytical results. Manage pricing, distribution channels, and promotional planning. Work with after-sales and technical support teams to address product-related issues and enhance customer satisfaction. 5. Cross-Functional Collaboration Lead product initiatives by coordinating with R&D, sales, supply chain, and production teams to ensure projects stay on schedule. Promote effective communication between departments and external partners to ensure seamless transitions from development to commercialization. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or above in Electronic Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. International product management experience is a plus. Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management within the white goods industry; air conditioning experience is highly desirable. Proficient in English, capable of working in an international environment. Solid understanding of product development, project management, and cross-department collaboration processes. Strong analytical and market insight abilities, with experience creating product requirement and market analysis reports. Excellent communication and coordination skills, with a collaborative mindset and the ability to drive project success. Strategic and innovative thinker, able to adapt quickly to market dynamics and adjust strategies accordingly. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
