Job Overview Compliance Leader for Prolec, a newly acquired business within GE Vernova Electrification. Responsible for building, operationalizing, and leading a compliance program aligned to GE Vernova’s compliance standards and enterprise requirements. Works closely with the Chief Electrification Compliance Officer, GE Vernova Compliance, and Prolec General Counsel. Stands up compliance infrastructure across Prolec’s global footprint, integrates the business into GE Vernova’s compliance framework, and fosters a culture of integrity and ethical business conduct. Roles and Responsibilities Lead the design, build-out, and implementation of a comprehensive compliance program for Prolec, aligned to GE Vernova’s Compliance Standards, policies, and procedures. Stand up and operationalize GE Vernova compliance policies, procedures, and controls across Prolec’s global operations, including anti-corruption, anti-money laundering (AML), trade compliance, third-party risk management, competition/antitrust, and data privacy requirements. Develop and execute the integration roadmap for Prolec’s compliance function, ensuring alignment of all compliance processes, systems, and reporting to GE Vernova’s enterprise framework within defined integration milestones. Oversee and implement Prolec’s Onboarding and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) Program working in close partnership with GE Vernova’s ABAC Leader to operationalize as applicable the process for commercial third parties, agents, sales partners (ASPs), channel partners, and other higher-risk relationships, consistent with GE Vernova’s TPRM Program. Conduct and lead compliance risk assessments across Prolec’s global operations to identify key risk areas, gaps, and priorities, and translate findings into actionable remediation plans and monitoring strategies, enabling the vision for GEV Compliance Standards. Deploy and establish compliance KPIs, monitoring metrics, and dashboards to track program maturity, risk trends, and integration progress, and report results to Electrification CCO, GE Vernova CCO, and Prolec and Electrification leadership. Drive a culture of compliance and integrity throughout the Prolec organization by designing and delivering compliance training, awareness campaigns, leadership engagement sessions, and tone-from-the-top initiatives tailored to Prolec’s workforce and business environment in partnership across functions. Support compliance investigations, concerns reporting (Open Reporting / ombuds channels), and corrective action processes in coordination with Legal, HR, and GE Vernova Compliance and Investigations/Open Reporting leadership and ELEC Global Ombudsperson. Provide day-to-day compliance guidance and advisory support to Prolec’s business leaders, commercial teams, and functional partners on compliance-related matters, including transaction approvals, conflict of interest reviews, and gifts and hospitality clearances. Coordinate closely with the Electrification CCO, GE Vernova Compliance, and other Electrification business program is fully aligned with company-wide objectives, standards, and initiatives, and to share best practices across the segment and beyond. Build and lead the Prolec compliance team, including hiring, developing, and managing compliance professionals across Prolec’s key geographies to ensure adequate coverage and local expertise. Assess and manage Prolec’s compliance with applicable local laws and regulations across all operating jurisdictions, including Mexico, the United States, and other key markets, ensuring that GE Vernova standards are met or exceeded. Qualifications / Requirements University Degree in Law, Business, or related field with 8+ years of progressive work experience in Compliance, Legal, Ethics, or a related function, preferably within a multinational energy company. Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written) required. Portuguese or additional languages a plus. Demonstrated experience building or significantly expanding a compliance program, including standing up policies, procedures, training, monitoring, and reporting frameworks. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills with demonstrated ability to influence without authority and partner cross-functionally at all levels of the organization. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex compliance matters clearly and persuasively to senior leadership, boards, and diverse global audiences. Experience with M&A integration, post-acquisition compliance integration, or building compliance programs in newly acquired or standalone businesses is strongly preferred. Working knowledge of key compliance domains including anti-corruption (FCPA, UK Bribery Act), trade compliance/sanctions, anti-money laundering, third-party risk management, competition law, and data privacy regulations. Desired Characteristics: Proven ability to operate in a fast‑paced, integration‑driven environment with a builder mindset and high tolerance for ambiguity. Experience leading and developing compliance teams in a multi‑country, multi‑cultural environment. Deep knowledge of, or ability to quickly learn, GEV’s Compliance program, Enterprise Standards, and compliance culture expectations. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to assess risk, prioritize competing demands, and deliver practical, business‑oriented compliance solutions. Ability to design, plan, and execute compliance programs, projects, and initiatives from concept through operationalization. Track record of driving cultural change and embedding compliance values within an organization. Collaborative mindset with the ability to work horizontally across compliance, legal, finance, HR, commercial, and operational teams to deliver integrated outcomes. Solid business judgment, strategic thinking, and the ability to balance enterprise compliance requirements with practical business needs. Travel domestically and internationally as required to support Prolec’s operations (≈20‑30%). Work Location and Additional Information Primary location is expected to be at a Prolec site (Monterrey, Mexico), with flexibility for candidates based at other GE Vernova Electrification locations, subject to business needs.
