We are seeking a SAFETY INTERN for our CDMX plant. Responsibilities Perform risk analysis for operations such as electric, ergonomic, job safety analysis, and machinery. Ensure safety controls in areas under responsibility. Coordinate multidisciplinary groups for problem solving and incident investigation. Lead the safety training program and legal requirements for the operations. Conduct process audits and safety walk-bys to prevent unsafe conditions and identify opportunities for improvement. Lead safety projects to reduce risk in operations. Monitor closure of action plans and projects. Support control and management of personnel in various circumstances that arise. Plan, supervise, direct, and engage in daily production operations, anticipating production problems such as material shortages, equipment malfunctions, and rush orders. Instruct, train, orient, motivate, and otherwise assist employees to achieve production and quality objectives. Qualifications Currently studying electrical, industrial, mechanical, or related engineering (bachelor’s degree). Proficient in English; advanced English required to communicate fluently with native and non-native speakers. Experience in manufacturing systems. Wide experience working with union workers, operators, and technicians. Ability in personnel management, group motivation, and conflict management. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma (desired). Passionate about safety, electrical and ergonomic topics. #J-18808-Ljbffr
