We are looking for a software developer to develop/ integrate software for airbags systems. Responsibilities Requirement analysis, functional specification, implementation, and testing of software functions Integration of different software components Software development for CAN communication and vehicle diagnostic services Technical contact for the customer as well as the global software development team Testing of software functions in hardware and software simulation environments to ensure conformance with customer requirements Debugging and troubleshooting software Process documentation of software outputs Candidate must be proficient in English, as part of a global team. Meetings, mailing and communication use English Qualifications Hands‑on experience programming in C for real‑time embedded systems Experience with software integration using change and requirement management tools (CSCRM, ALM, Synergy, etc.) Knowledge of the software development lifecycle Ability to solve technical problems independently with minimal customer interaction Passion for automotive engineering Team player with good problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills Advanced English language skills Professional representation of Bosch at the customer Experience with CAN or other communication protocols 1+ year working experience in embedded systems Nice to Have Experience using testing and application tools like Canalyzer, Canoe, INCA, etc. Experience with Agile methodologies Familiarity with automotive coding rules Experience with source control management tools (e.g., Subversion, Git, MKS) Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Perl, etc. Familiarity with HIL test environments and SIL/HIL testing methods Experience with diagnostic communication protocols such as UDS, J1939, or GMLAN Independent and responsible working style with a strong focus on details, and experience collaborating with international and cross‑divisional teams #J-18808-Ljbffr
