Position Objective This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure. The engineer collaborates with IT teams to ensure the network meets business needs, troubleshoots and resolves issues, performs capacity planning, and stays current with emerging technologies to continuously improve performance and security. Requirements Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. 5–7 years of experience as a Network Engineer, preferably in a similar role. Strong knowledge of networking principles, protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, IPAM, NTP, NAC, routing, switching, load balancers, etc.). Proficiency with Cisco SDWAN, Fortinet and Cisco firewalls/WAFs, Cisco switches/routers, Aruba wireless access points/controllers, Azure cloud networking, Clear Pass NAC, F5 load balancers, and network design, implementation and troubleshooting. Experience in network monitoring and management tools such as Logic Monitor, Wireshark, IPAM BlueCat. Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills. Valid US Visa and ability to travel up to 25% for on‑site support and installations. Strong English speaking, writing and reading skills. Flexible working hours and ability to commute to Cuajimalpa, CDMX. Key Responsibilities Design and implement complex enterprise SDWAN, firewall, VPN, LAN, wireless, and load balancer solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in person or remotely using ITIL methodology. Perform network maintenance and upgrades including rack‑and‑stack, configuration, cabling and RMAs. Ensure IT/OT network security and compliance. Provide technical support to end‑users and participate in on‑call rotation. Participate in network planning and budgeting. Assist in the development of network policies, SOPs, network diagrams and maintain an accurate CMDB inventory. Monitor network performance and capacity.
