Essential Job Functions Operate and maintain laboratory and office facilities; manage lab organization and consumable inventory (stocking supplies, scheduling refrigerator/freezer cleanings, pipette calibrations). Order, stock, and track reagents, consumables, first‑aid items, and other supplies. Arrange FedEx shipments and receive deliveries. Manage vendor/service providers for maintenance, calibration, and repair of facility/utilities; coordinate preventive maintenance. Ensure adherence to lab safety standards; manage chemical/biological waste (storage, labeling, disposal). Maintain chemical inventory and SDS record‑keeping; track warranties and renew as needed. Manage liquid nitrogen/dry ice levels; act as first responder for temperature alarms; serve as EH&S point of contact and safety monitor. Manage HVAC point of contact; respond to urgent lab/facility issues; support inspections/audits. Provide customer service to lab users, vendors, and other departments; backup reception, event setup, and other assigned duties. Job Specifications / Qualifications Prefer a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/training/experience. 2+ years supporting lab operations in biotech or pharma. Professional communication; customer‑service focus; detail‑oriented, organized, able to prioritize multiple tasks. Flexible, fast‑paced responsiveness; stand long periods; lift 25+ lbs.
