About the Role Acts as the primary liaison between a company and its existing clients, focusing on nurturing long-term relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving revenue growth. They are \"farmers\" who manage client accounts, understand their needs, resolve issues, and align company products/services with client goals. The ideal candidate will be able to appropriately identify the needs of both new and current customers, establishing an effective level of communication with clients and internal teammates to better understand and mitigate any issues customers may face. This position offers a 4‑day onsite and 1‑day work‑from‑home hybrid schedule. Duties and Responsibilities Maintain and increase the business share at your customer base Coordinate sales efforts for direct accounts within the given territory Work in conjunction with the outside sales team to increase customer penetration Deep knowledge of your customer base, with a focus on project tracking and management. Coordinate pricing on a WW basis as needed for those global accounts such as EMS, automotive, or Japanese Full support for delivery problems and escalation for given accounts Provide and maintain accurate forecast for budget and capacity planning Execute PCN changes directed from our production divisions Become an liaison between our HQ in Japan and the customer base to correctly execute our corporate direction Monitor and control costs associated with field‑sales activity, such as supply chain solutions, minimum order quantities, and minimum order values, to maximize profitability Support accounts receivable with unresolved payment problems Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Business, or Sales/Marketing; or equivalent combination of education/training and work experience; or equivalent industry work experience. A minimum of 2–3 years’ experience (4–6 years exp. desired) in a sales environment, preferably in the semiconductor market, either in outside sales or inside sales job positions, or in the manufacturing industry in purchasing or project management roles. Strong computer abilities and proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI and OneNote) Fluent English is required to correctly communicate with all involved parties Required Skills Excellent communication, coordination, and multitasking skills Ability to multitask, working on several projects simultaneously Ability to maintain, build, and engage in new working relationships with customers, reps, distributors, and internal teammates Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Provide input and resolve ambiguous and complex problems Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance Ability to perform effective communication, negotiation and organization skills Ability to travel as required Stay abreast of new technologies, industry trends, and enhance professional growth and development Preferred Skills Experience in the EMS industry, either working for one of them or handling such customers for a minimum of 3 years.
