Software Engineer (Chef/Puppet) at BairesDev What You’ll Do Design, develop, and maintain automated configuration management scripts using Chef cookbooks or Puppet manifests. Manage large-scale server fleets by ensuring consistent state and configuration across all environments. Utilize Ruby and Domain Specific Languages (DSLs) to create modular and reusable infrastructure code. Automate the installation, configuration, and orchestration of operating systems and application stacks. Troubleshoot and resolve complex configuration issues within the infrastructure automation pipeline. Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate configuration management into broader CI/CD and DevOps workflows. What We Are Looking For 4+ years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps, or Configuration Management. Proven expertise in managing and scaling infrastructure using Chef or Puppet. Proficiency in Ruby for developing automated server management cookbooks and manifests. Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles and configuration management at scale.
