Job Description: Cost Accountant Location: Cienega, Reciente Leon, MexicoReports to: Mexico ControllerPosition: Exempt Responsibilities Analytically review cost reduction projects and provide support to the Engineering department Manage costs effectively Review the Cost Structure Analyze cost variances Suggest improvements to enhance cost efficiency and production processes Prepare monthly cost reports and closing statements Accurately assess inventory valuation Determine production costs Coordinate and control physical and cycle inventory counts Report weekly sales figures to Finance for analysis and reconciliation Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field Advanced (at least 80%) English fluency At least 3 years of experience in similar positions in the manufacturing industry Good understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Strong knowledge of cost management Advanced knowledge of Excel Ability to organize a monthly task calendar with deadlines Ability to analyze information and provide observations and feedback Commitment to the organization and its members Ability to work in a team and under pressure Benefits Competitive salary Annual bonus program 401(k) matching and profit sharing contributions Health insurance options with competitive premiums Life insurance Disability insurance Paid holidays and vacations Other benefits such as recognition programs, gym memberships, and wellness perks We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
