As our IT Support & Infrastructure Engineer , you will be the first point of contact for IT at the plant. You will support users, maintain local infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and work closely with Group IT to ensure stable and secure IT services. Your work directly supports our employees, production systems, infrastructure, and daily business continuity. You are the person people turn to when something is not working and the person who helps prevent issues before they happen. You will work on-site at Rompa Mexico , supporting local teams while collaborating with Group IT and external partners when needed. Your Role As IT Support & Infrastructure Engineer, you will actively support our plant by: • Acting as the first point of contact for all local IT issues • Supporting laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, scanners, and peripherals • Solving day-to-day IT problems quickly and pragmatically • Supporting user onboarding and offboarding, including hardware, accounts, and access • Performing basic network troubleshooting for LAN, Wi-Fi, and connectivity issues • Supporting server maintenance and patching according to Group IT guidelines • Managing backups, antivirus, endpoint protection, and monitoring activities • Supporting printers, barcode scanners, and shop-floor IT devices • Providing first-line support for ERP, MES / production systems, Microsoft 365, and standard applications • Escalating complex issues to Group IT or external vendors • Executing IT changes defined by Group IT • Maintaining asset tracking, documentation, and IT compliance • Supporting plant audits, IT inspections, and security requirements What We’re Looking For • Experience with Windows workstations and basic Windows Server administration • Basic networking knowledge, including switches, Wi-Fi, and connectivity troubleshooting • Experience with printers, scanners, and industrial IT devices • Understanding of standard IT security practices • A hands-on, service-oriented mindset • Comfortable working in a production / manufacturing environment • Stress-resistant, pragmatic, and solution-focused • English level sufficient for documentation, communication, and escalation What We Offer • A hands-on IT role close to production and daily operations • The opportunity to make a direct impact on plant performance and business continuity • Collaboration with local teams, Group IT, and external technology partners • A dynamic manufacturing environment where no two days are the same • A culture driven by ownership, reliability, continuous improvement, and teamwork
