Manufacturing Engineer – Tijuana Reporting to the Manager Engineering, this role involves planning, directing, and coordinating manufacturing processes to provide technical support throughout the product lifecycle. Responsibilities Plan, direct, and coordinate manufacturing processes. Design and optimize manufacturing processes within schedule and budget parameters. Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods and workflows. Define equipment maintenance requirements and troubleshoot equipment failures. Collaborate with engineering teams and customers to resolve issues and implement corrective actions. Participate in PFMEA and control plan development for new products. Write and update work instructions, specifications, and procedures. Analyze and design equipment layouts and workspace for maximum efficiency. Coordinate with production teams to ensure effective tooling and product design. Respond to customer requests regarding product specifications and design changes. Qualifications Experience in Medical Industry. Advanced English proficiency. Bachelor’s degree (typically required). Experience in initiating corrective action requests and tracking to satisfactory completion. Experience assisting with development and implementation of quality audits. Responsible for developing, applying, revising, and maintaining quality standards for processing materials into partially finished or finished products. Analyzes reports and returned products, recommends corrective action. Establish and evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement and analytical equipment and facilities. Approves product, process, and equipment qualifications.
