Operations Works closely with the VP as trusted assistant, anticipating needs and requirements for timely response to critical matters and daily activities. Applies proactive approach in decision‑making and work prioritization. Works often with only remote access to the VP, who operates in an environment of an extensive portfolio of global responsibilities within the group. Prepares materials for conferences, correspondence, appointments, meetings, etc. Coordinates meetings both on‑site and off‑site to include accommodations and meals as required in a function with a global remit. Ensures effective time management of VP. Assists executive with administrative details, often of a confidential nature. Maintains calendar and conference, meeting schedules. Answers telephone and gives appropriate information to callers or routes call to appropriate party, always with a view to maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of the VP, while ensuring a focus on key relationships is maintained. Communication Maintains effective communications with all key stakeholders both internal and where appropriate external. Supervisors & Managers should clearly communicate expectations, roles and responsibilities to their reports. Financial All employees have an accountability to the organisation to be financially responsible whether they are in charge of a function budget or simply their own expenses. Costs incurred should be within approved budget, processed within agreed time frames & following the relevant financial policy and procedure. People & Development Employees have a responsibility for developing their own careers within the Company including completing all necessary function, compliance & business standards training to enhance their knowledge, skills and experience. Employees should engage on a regular basis with their line manager to discuss their personal performance, objectives and opportunities to enhance their skills and experience to support their career potential. Supervisors are expected to actively engage their employees to support talent management through Weatherford’s performance management process, including but not limited to talent assessments, succession planning & regular coaching opportunities. Supervisors should collaborate with Human Resources & Training Development to drive strategies for the recruitment & retention of key personnel and to foster an environment that supports the attraction & retention of a high‑performing talented workforce. Vision & Leadership Demonstrates leadership, ethical behaviour and adherence to Weatherford standards at all times. Experience & Education Required 7+ years experience supporting at an executive level. Associate degree in Business or related field preferred. Preferred JD Specific. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required Excellent computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, Visio. Excellent oral and written communication skills (including reading, writing and math skills; ability to interpret and follow a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form). Proficient typing skills. Ability to prioritize work assignments. Knowledge of billing practices and controls. Exceptional interpersonal skills to work and interact with all levels of the employee population including the Company Executive and the Global Supply Chain Leadership team. Excellent time management and organizational skills for both self and VP. Strong ability to work with little or no supervision and intuitively understand the needs of the VP. Ability to maintain confidentiality; remain unobtrusive but present; demonstrate calmness and flexibility in a changing environment. Preferred JD Specific.
