We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing SAP applications across ECC and S/4HANA environments. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions aligned with business and technical requirements. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain SAP applications , with a primary focus on ABAP-based solutions. Collaborate with IT Architects, Development Managers, and Functional Consultants to deliver system enhancements and new functionalities. Participate in Tier 3 support , including incident resolution, root cause analysis, and implementation of fixes. Support system upgrades, patches, and continuous improvement initiatives. Perform unit testing , debugging, and validation to ensure solution quality and stability. Assist in the development of proof-of-concepts (PoCs) and prototype environments. Create and maintain technical documentation , including functional specifications and support documentation. Manage and maintain code following established development standards and version control practices . Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum: 5 years of SAP ABAP development experience in ECC environments 3 years of hands‑on experience in S/4HANA Strong understanding of SAP functional areas: Finance (FI/CO) Order-to-Cash (O2C) Tax Proven experience with: Data migration and system interfaces (BAPI, IDoc, ALE, EDI) Enhancements (BAdIs, User Exits, Enhancement Framework) Object‑Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP) Preferred Qualifications Experience in SAP Finance-related solutions , including compliance with Mexican e‑accounting requirements . Knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and cloud-based ABAP development. Experience with SAP Fiori development , including OData services and UI enhancements.
