If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.## Job Summary*To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a **Environmental Health & Safety Manager*** *located in **Guadalajara, North Campus**.**Reporting to the EH&S Manager, **Environmental Health & Safety Manager** role involves* *in charge of providing immediate supervision to a group of employees for the implementation of complex activities related to the efficient management of Environmental Health & Safety programs in offices and manufacturing sites to ensure that the required company and government standards and regulations are met.***What a typical day looks like:*** *Manage, through subordinate supervisors, the coordination of Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) programs in offices, manufacturing sites, and plants with control results in terms of costs, methods, and employees.** *Develop and administer budgets, schedules, and performance requirements.** *Conduct meetings involving environmental safety, training, and awareness programs.** *Oversee proper maintenance of buildings, furniture and fixtures in accordance with federal, state and local regulations.** *Provide direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance and act as advisor to unit, or sub-units and get involved as required to meet schedules or resolve problems.** *Establish and recommend changes to policies which affect subordinate organization(s).** *Interact frequently with subordinate supervisors, customers and/or functional peer group managers.** *Conduct presentations of technical information concerning specific projects/schedules, etc.** *Manage budget and schedule for moderately complex EH&S activities, including costs of contract labor, equipment, and materials.** *Train staff on any changes to policy and procedures.** *Implement appropriate HR Strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce***The experience we’re looking to add to our team:*** *BA/BS or equivalent work experience** *Fluent English** *7+ years of experience in similar position or related experience** *Experience in EH&S and knowledge of related regulations, codes, and guidelines** *Excellent communication skills and ability to proactively develop and drive initiatives.** *Ability to communicate and demonstrate technical expertise with internal and external customers.** *Experience in metal mechanics industry** *Desirable experience in machinery safety***What you’ll receive for the great work you provide:*** Competitive Salary.* Life & Medical insurance.* Christmas Bonus.* Food Coupons.* Saving Fund.## ## Job CategoryOperationsRequired Skills:Optional Skills:Flex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
