Job Description Senior level Data Architect/Analyst with demonstrated problem‑solving expertise in designing, analyzing, and supporting both OLTP and OLAP systems. You will deliver strategic consulting, design, advisory services, market research, and contact center analytics to improve outcomes and value for our clients. Responsibilities Own outcomes end‑to‑end and manage your own technical work when no formal PM is assigned. Perform Data modeling for OLTP and OLAP/EDW, including source‑to‑target data mappings and complex transformation rules. Lead Data Analyst project delivery responsibilities. Gather, clarify, and document business and technical requirements directly with stakeholders. Plan, organize, and track your technical work. Provide clear, professional written and verbal communication in English, explaining complex technical concepts to technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Analyze ambiguous or complex problems, identify root causes, and propose and execute viable solutions. Apply enterprise modeling best practices across EDW and OLTP, such as Kimball dimensional modeling, Medallion architecture, and 3NF transactional models. Create and troubleshoot stored procedures, views, and functions in T‑SQL or PL/SQL. Perform SQL performance tuning and data validation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability of datasets. Ensure analytics and reporting data adhere to data governance standards, including data quality, metadata, documentation, privacy, and security considerations. Act as a technical data steward for assigned domains, defining and maintaining trusted data definitions and partnering with business and technical teams on metrics and business rules. Implement data distribution and partitioning strategies for platforms such as Azure Synapse and Delta Lake. Perform data profiling to assess quality, structure, and analytics readiness. Provision and maintain data models in Azure, Microsoft Fabric, AWS and related SQL Server, Oracle, and other cloud platforms. Qualifications Senior‑level SQL expertise in T‑SQL and PL/SQL, DDL/DML creation, and stored procedure development. Experience designing and maintaining physical data models driven by business requirements. Hands‑on experience with cloud and enterprise data platforms (Azure, Microsoft Fabric preferred, AWS acceptable). Experience with Azure Synapse, Lakehouse architectures, and OLTP modeling including SQL Server temporal tables. Working understanding of XML and XSD, including differences between XSD and XML and canonical data model design. Fail‑Fast execution mindset, testing early and pivoting without delay. Experience with data governance practices: data quality, metadata, documentation, privacy, and security. Experience with CI/CD and version control using GitHub, including branching, merging, and deployment of database objects. Hands‑on development tools such as Visual Studio Code and XMLSpy. Experience with data modeling tools such as Erwin (preferred) and ER/Studio. Programming knowledge of Python. Experience with SDLC methodologies: Waterfall, Agile/SCRUM, sprint‑based delivery. Knowledge of and experience with AI tools for generating or optimizing SQL/Python, accelerating analysis, and improving data quality and governance. Availability in Central Time zone and willingness to work as a hands‑on contractor. Demonstrated ability to own outcomes end‑to‑end and manage delivery without a formal PM. Additional Required Skills Data Analyst primary role: data modeling, mapping, profiling, and documentation. Business Analyst mindset: gathering and clarifying requirements with stakeholders. Project Manager mindset: planning, organizing, and tracking independent technical work. Preferred Skills Experience with Azure Data Factory Pipelines, Pyspark Notebooks, Azure Data Factory. Experience with Erwin DI Suite / Erwin Mapping Manager. Experience with Excel‑based source‑to‑target mappings. Experience with Amazon S3, Snowflake, or other data warehouses.
