The Manufacturing Engineer will support and lead the movement of products and processes from the United States to Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. The role involves overseeing, improving manufacturing processes, and ensuring high levels of product quality, profitability, and regulatory compliance. This position also supports future product transfers and requires travel to U.S. manufacturing facilities. Education Professional studies as Mechanical Engineer, Mechatronics Engineer, Electronic Engineer, or similar. Experience 1 year as a Manufacturing Engineer or in the manufacturing industry. Background Bilingual (Spanish / English) – preferred. Computer packages (Microsoft Office). Knowledge of lean manufacturing. Knowledge of production processes. Evaluate existing processes, designs, and layouts to determine areas of waste, safety hazards, and opportunities for improvement. Identify tooling and equipment needs for manufacturing processes. Work directly with quality, purchasing and production to identify, understand, and correct design or process flaws. Develop tools to capture and maintain metrics to monitor process control and performance. Analyze data to derive improvement opportunities and initiate engineering changes. Document work processes and recommend process improvements. Support in-house organizations in continual improvement, problem investigations, safety, and documentation. Report project status updates and measures to management. Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching testing methods, and conferring with equipment vendors. Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout. Assure product and process quality by designing testing methods. Provide manufacturing decision‑making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs. Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Provide manufacturing engineering information by answering questions and requests. Maintain product and company reputation by complying with government regulations. Keep equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services. Maintain product and process databases by writing computer programs and entering data. Complete design and development projects by training and guiding technicians.
