Job Profile: C# QA Engineer with Banking domain Job Type: Long-time based contract Job opportunity Location: 100% Remote in Mexico Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in C#, Selenium, and test automation frameworks within the Banking or Financial Services domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test solutions, validating complex banking applications, and ensuring high-quality software delivery across enterprise platforms. The candidate should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience working in Agile environments, and a solid understanding of banking workflows, financial systems, and secure application testing. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using C# and Selenium WebDriver. Build scalable and reusable automation frameworks for web-based banking applications. Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing across banking platforms. Analyze business and technical requirements to create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases. Execute automated and manual test cases to validate application functionality and performance. Identify, log, track, and troubleshoot defects using defect management tools. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables. Validate APIs, backend services, and database integrations related to banking applications. Participate in sprint planning, requirement discussions, and Agile ceremonies. Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and faster releases. Prepare test execution reports, defect analysis reports, and quality metrics documentation. Ensure compliance with banking security, regulatory, and quality standards. Required Skills Strong hands-on experience in Automation Testing using C# and Selenium WebDriver. Experience in developing automation frameworks using .NET technologies. Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and STLC. Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman or RestSharp. Good understanding of SQL and database validation techniques. Experience with version control tools such as Git. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions. Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience working in Banking or Financial Services projects. Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills. Good communication and stakeholder collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with BDD frameworks such as SpecFlow or Cucumber. Knowledge of performance or security testing concepts. Familiarity with cloud environments and containerized testing. Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or Azure Test Plans. Exposure to mobile or API automation testing. Banking Domain Knowledge Understanding of banking operations, payment systems, transaction processing, lending, retail banking, or digital banking applications. Knowledge of secure financial systems and regulatory compliance standards is preferred. Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
