Key Responsibilities We Will Trust You With: The Latin American Sales Director is responsible for leading and executing the Sales function, to bring new orders into the company in alignment with our commercial strategy, goals, objectives and core company values across the Latin America region. This role will report to the Chief Commercial Officer and be tasked with driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and building strong relationships with key customers and partners. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with proven leadership skills and a track record of achieving ambitious sales targets in a competitive environment. You will establish and maintain personal and direct reports performance objectives to increase revenues in the territory while maintaining quality standards, productivity, and profitability through performance goals of the department set by the Company. You will serve as a working Director and act as a player/coach to drive the team and direct key account /key channel partner engagement. What You Will Be Doing: Develop and Execute Sales Strategy Create and implement a comprehensive sales plan aligned with company objectives. Technical and disciplinary management of Region and Territory Sales Managers. Promotes and sells technical and/or nontechnical products, brands and/or services and solutions. Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability and success. Maintains and expands customer base by leading and coaching sales representatives Revenue Growth: Drive consistent revenue growth through new business development and expansion of existing accounts. Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities and risks. Create and implement product launch plans by working with marketing communications, sales, field service and partners to provide internal and external product unique selling points and training based on product value proposition. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and loyalty. Responsible for articulating all the outbound tasks necessary to clearly explain the benefits of those features and translate them into customer-facing messages. Tasked with giving product demonstrations at trade shows and webinars, delivering presentations to customers and prospects, and creating marketing collateral. Owns the task of defining the product for market understanding. Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align strategies and deliver seamless customer experiences. Reporting and Forecasting: Provide accurate sales forecasts, performance reports, and actionable insights to senior leadership including but not limited to reporting on regional sales activities and monthly pipeline updates. Your Areas of Knowledge and Expertise that matter most for this role: Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred). 10+ years of progressive sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in North America. Several years of relevant professional experience in the branch of energy, oil and/ or Gas and experienced with measurement technology, mid-stream & downstream. Strong understanding of regional market dynamics and customer behavior. Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills Must be able to travel internationally and locally Proficient in both English and Spanish Results-Oriented Strategic Thinking Leadership and Team Development Strong Analytical Skills Key Interactions Internal national and global partners including sales, marketing, product development, manufacturing, finance, engineering External: Clients and Vendors Work Environment: Fast-paced, performance-driven environment with a focus on responsiveness, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. This role operates in a hybrid office environment requiring frequent interaction with regional teams, customers, and cross-functional partners. Regular use of standard office equipment and digital collaboration tools (video conferencing, CRM, ERP systems). Periodic domestic and international travel to customer sites, regional offices, and manufacturing facilities. Physical Demands: This role will involve periods of sitting, working on a computer, and participating in virtual meetings. Frequent verbal and written communication required to interact with global teams and customers. Ability to travel, including long-duration flights and time spent walking through customer sites, offices, and manufacturing facilities. May require standing, walking, or light physical activity during site visits. Ability to occasionally lift or carry light materials (e.g., laptop, documents, small equipment up to ~15 lbs.).
