Drive Financial Accuracy, Stability, and Strategy as a High-Impact Accounting Specialist We are seeking an analytical and highly detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to manage full-cycle accounting while leading strategic financial initiatives. This role combines daily financial operations with advanced tasks such as forensic auditing, financial forecasting, and building long-term financial roadmaps—ideal for someone who thrives on accuracy, structure, and strategic problem-solving. Key Responsibilities Core Accounting & Reporting Manage full financial records, including chart of accounts, general ledger, and all bookkeeping functions in QuickBooks Online. Conduct monthly expense analysis to identify trends, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities. Perform accurate bank, credit card, and vendor reconciliations. Prepare monthly and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow). Strategic & Audit Functions Conduct a full forensic review of historical financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance. Prepare quarterly financial projections based on KPIs and operational trends. Support development of a 12–36 month financial roadmap aligned with business growth goals. Qualifications Experience Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping roles. Bonus: Experience with accounting in education, daycare, or non-profit sectors. Technical Expertise Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online. Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets (financial models, pivot tables, custom reports). Strong experience using Google Workspace for documentation and reporting. Professional Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional accuracy, attention to detail, and reconciliation skills. Excellent English communication skills for explaining financial insights clearly.
