Role Purpose Serve as a technical project lead for automation initiatives, integrating advanced process engineering expertise with deep industrial controls knowledge. Ensure successful execution of automation projects and adherence to global standards. Provide leadership in process engineering by identifying KPOV/KPIVs as well as assessing measurement systems capabilities and process capabilities. Key Responsibilities Lead process definition and documentation of KPIVs and KPOVs, including tolerance ranges and quality criteria. Design and execute validation experiments using statistical methods; interpret results and guide the next steps. Support Pre-FAT, FAT, Pre-SAT and SAT activities, ensuring process alignment and compliance with acceptance criteria. Collaborate with design teams to propose error-proofing solutions and prioritize improvements using Pareto analysis. Develop process maps and data collection plans for automation projects. Create and maintain technical documentation (MPI, manuals, visual aids) for operation and maintenance. Provide clear communication and training to operators, technicians, and engineers in process and controls. Support and enhance the integration of control systems (PLC, HMI, SCADA, vision systems), leveraging controls engineering expertise to optimize automation performance, reliability, and safety. Identify process gaps, bottlenecks, and risks; propose corrective and preventive actions. Drive continuous improvement using statistical monitoring and data-driven decision‑making. Lead cross‑functional teams and mentor junior engineers in automation and process engineering best practices. Ensure commitment to safety, quality, and compliance standards. Experiences / Education – Required Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Mechatronics, Electrical, Automation, or related field (PhD preferred). Extensive experience in industrial automation projects and advanced manufacturing environments. Strong knowledge of industrial controls and controls engineering: PLC, HMI, SCADA, vision systems, instrumentation, and electrical safety. Ability to interpret and create technical documentation: electrical diagrams, logic charts, and mechanical drawings. Experience in project management, SOW development, and process validation. Proficiency in statistical analysis and design of experiments. Excellent teamwork, leadership, and communication skills. Proficient in English (speaking and reading). Certifications in automation, controls, or project management. Experience with MES/ERP integration and deployment projects. Advanced technical English proficiency.
