Cloud Consultant, Associate Department: SaaS Employment Type: Full Time Location: Mexico City Description We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cloud Consultant, Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for monitoring system health, managing backups and restores, handling tickets, and coordinating with customers and vendors to ensure smooth and efficient IT operations. A Typical Day in the Life Includes: Perform system health checks and validate backup success (BRMS). Handle restoration requests and troubleshoot related issues. Monitor Wintel restarts, disk space issues, RDP access problems, and server availability. Configure and manage Halcyon alerts and monitoring rules. Analyze and address ERP application alerts (e.g., environment down, job failures, subsystem or login issues). Investigate and resolve ASP performance spikes across AS400 servers. Work closely with the hosting partner for customer-related escalations. Gain full understanding and ownership of Halcyon monitoring setup and administration. Manage ServiceNow activities: ticket creation, bulk updates, change requests, and new customer/infra-additions. Develop L1 documentation for recurring activities. Basic Qualifications: Recent graduate in Computer Science or related field. Experience working with computer systems, networking, and operating systems. Experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Full proficiency in English. Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment, including weekend shifts (after initial 6-month training, 2 weekends per month), and adapt to hybrid work (3 days per week). Preferred Qualifications: Experience with IBM i OS, Work Management, BRMS, ROBOT, and Halcyon tools. Experience or coursework involving monitoring tools and ticketing systems (ServiceNow).
