Eaton’s IS VEH EMB division is currently seeking a Sr Quality Engineer to support the Reynosa plant and its customers. Responsibilities Provide support to the Reynosa plant with in‑process and customer quality issues. Perform regular visits to customers and maintain communication to address concerns. Support the plant with the implementation of irreversible corrective actions requested by customers. Implement quality procedures for inspection processes and final audits. Participate in the initial manufacturing process to establish effective inspection and control measures. Participate in continuous improvement processes for existing and future operations. Develop and submit PPAPs: lead PPAP, support APQP, elaborate control plans, support PFMEAs, implement SCP charts, create and control corrective actions, and develop MSA studies for equipment. Assist in the implementation of quality systems such as ISO9001:2015 and IATF16949. Participate in internal quality audits (IATF16949 and EQMS policies). Participate in continuous improvement and error‑proof projects (Green Belt). Participate in APQP teams to bring products to market. Perform Layered Process Audits (LPA). Participate in Quality Gemba Walks. Participate in MRB meetings to provide disposition for material into quarantine areas. Review warranty claims in the Quality Customer Portals (OEM). Have the authority to stop shipments and halt production to correct quality problems. Develop, lead, and promote a safety, health, and environmental culture (MESH). Maintain waste segregation, separate hazardous waste, and ensure proper disposal. Report any activity that may pose a risk to safety or the environment. Qualifications 2–3 years of experience in a similar quality engineering role. Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electronics. Knowledge of quality standards: ISO9001:2015, IATF16949:2016, ISO14001. Proficiency with measurement tools and statistical methods. Fluency in English and Spanish (conversational and written).
