Network Support Engineer – Mexico City, Cisco Meraki Location: Mexico City, Mexico. Must be within a commutable distance to the office and available onsite 2‑3 days per week. Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required. Responsibilities Provide technical support for Meraki products, including wireless access points, security appliances, switches, and related technologies. Investigate, diagnose, and resolve customer and partner issues via phone, chat, and email. Own end‑to‑end service requests from ticket creation to resolution. Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, and other support teams to triage network outages and complex configuration problems. Analyze packet captures with Wireshark and troubleshoot issues using Linux console commands. Create, update, and share detailed Knowledge Base articles based on customer interactions. Participate in training and stay current on Meraki features and network technologies. Qualifications Proficient in English (speaking and writing). Foundational understanding of networking technologies: firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, NAT, DHCP, and wireless (a/b/g/n/ac). Hands‑on experience supporting or testing LANs, VLANs, VPNs, NAT devices, DHCP servers, and Wi‑Fi networks. Strong knowledge of networking protocols: TCP, OSPF, STP, ARP, Ethernet. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences. Customer‑service oriented with a focus on clear, concise communication. Time‑management skills and attention to detail; capable of multitasking under stress. Current or pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Technology, Networking, or a related field.
