Job Details Job Name: US Tax Associate Company: Atos Job Type: Full-time Responsibilities Prepare and file U.S. sales and use tax returns for multiple jurisdictions on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Prepare sales and use tax data for compliance, reconciliations, and reporting. Respond to state and local tax notices and assist with audit inquiries. Support sales and use tax audits by compiling data, reviewing workpapers, and providing documentation. Prepare and manage resale and exemption certificates for customers and vendors. Prepare tax-related journal entries and assist with general ledger reconciliations. Provide analytical support for tax compliance, reporting, and system-related issues. Collaborate with internal departments to resolve tax reporting and compliance issues. Participate in special projects, including tax research, process improvements, and internal reviews. Educational Background Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field. Professional Experience 1 year of experience in U.S. tax and accounting. Sales and use tax or indirect tax experience preferred. Candidates with general U.S. tax experience will also be considered. Qualifications Solid accounting knowledge, including journal entries, debits/credits, trial balances, and general ledger accounts. Experience preparing and analyzing large datasets in Excel. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, IF formulas). Experience working with tax returns and meeting strict deadlines. Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
