Reports to: Business Line Manager, Pulp and Paper. Your Role: Own the Challenge In this role, you will lead both global and local commercial and operations teams. You will be accountable for commercial execution and overall operational performance within your assigned geographical scope. You will leverage your expertise to design and implement business, commercial, and customer-focused operational strategies. The work model for the role is hybrid. This role contributes to the Pulp, Paper & Fiber Business in Mexico and reports to the North American Business Line Manager for Pulp, Paper & Fiber. Key Responsibilities Ensure the integrated commercial and operational success of the organization, driving business growth, market share, and achievement of performance objectives Develop, implement, review, and consistently execute the business commercial strategy, industry segment strategy, go-to-market model, and customer-focused operations strategy, with full ownership of financial and non-financial targets Ensure a sustainable and efficient value chain, from supplier to customer, and from order to delivery (products, projects, and services) Drive productivity optimization and capital efficiency, with a strong focus on profitability, demand analysis, cost-to-serve, channel profitability, and return on investment Qualifications 10+ years of proven experience leading front-end sales and operations, with full P&L responsibility and a strong track record of delivering profitable growth and business results Solid background in Process Industries — preferably in Pulp & Paper — with strong market knowledge and business development capabilities Strong commercial and financial acumen, including strategic P&L management, operations oversight, and cross-functional leadership Demonstrated experience in project management, coaching talent, and fostering a continuous learning and growth culture Inclusive leadership style, with the ability to lead diverse, high-performing teams in complex, multicultural, and international environments Strong people management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with customers Passion for innovation and the ability to thrive in challenging environments Fluent in Spanish and English, with excellent communication and influencing skills Bachelor’s degree in Engineering completed Benefits Performance Bonus Saving fund Paid parental leave Life insurance Retirement plan Health and dental insurance Wellbeing program Flex days Employee Assistance Program (PAE) Access to development platforms: Spark, Harvard Manager Mentor and English Learning EF English Live School (EF) #J-18808-Ljbffr
