Essential Duties & Responsibilities Retain and develop customers. Create new businesses in the region. Prospect new customers and maintain active customers. Negotiate to provide logistics solutions. Plan and manage your portfolio of accounts. Build rapport and trust with customers to stay informed about the line of business in the market. Use networks and a variety of sales channels to collaborate with customers, design marketing strategies, and provide the full chain of logistics services to meet customer needs. Evaluate the type and size of customer needs. Conduct customer visits (internal and external). Qualifications Experienced in cold calling, prospecting of potential clients, and lead creation. Experience in Ocean Freight/NVOCC environment. Verbal and written communication in English; strong customer service skills. Clear and consistent oral and written presentation of information. Rational and systematic analysis to identify the cause of problems. Generate creative ideas/solutions. Customer Service Oriented; continuous monitoring of customer expectations. Ability to establish successful long-term businesses with current and prospective clients. Planning and organization: ability to prioritize, plan and control.
